HFC Teacher Training is an accredited provider of School Centered Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) we work in close partnership with Liverpool Hope University to offer an ambitious, evidence informed and experience rich programme to fully develop reflective and inspiring teachers, who will in turn will encourage and energise our students to thrive, improving the outcomes and life chances of the young people in our schools.
Our ITT programme is rooted in local, credible schools. You will be immersed in the full classroom experience from the very start, but you will do this with the support of a dedicated team of staff behind you, from your school based mentor, the school leadership team, your department and year group team, all of which are devoted to ensuring you flourish and succeed in the classroom . As part of your training you will have weekly professional development sessions where you and your peers will engage in the most recent and relevant educational research and have the opportunity to discuss and explore what it is that makes a truly great teacher.
